Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
Well.... It all started with the purchase of a semi automatic shotgun, and after purchasing a safety flag which was promptly broken, I (James) decided to machine my own from aluminium, this lead to the first batch of the AutoBlock™ being made at a local machine shop, and to this day we still use the same machine shop to manufacture our safety devices, one thing lead to another and a website was developed, product made available on the usual e-commerce platforms and the product range started to grow.

All of the pre-production prototypes are developed and machined by me, James the owner, once I'm happy with the fit form and function, I produce production drawings and off we go to the machine shop.

Over the years our capabilities have enhanced with investment in 3D modelling software, machine tooling and some bespoke machinery designed and made in house for manufacture of our products, we have invested in fibre laser engraving and marking equipment to enhance our customisation capability.

With a firm handle on delivering the very best product we are proud to say that, quality comes first, we would sooner sacrifice a little sales margin to deliver the best product, and provide our customers the very best quality product. Our Story
OCV Products Ltd, is owned by James and Esther. All of this started after the purchase of a poor quality accessory for a shot gun and with a passion for engineering and manufacturing thought this could be done a whole lot better, and the journey was started.
James has over two decades experience in technical disciplines in engineering and construction, along with over a decade in global product and business management, along with being a qualified project manager, these skills have been honed and refined in some well known global engineering companies. Esther holds the key to the bank account and alongside running her own business is key to the daily operations ensuring things run smoothly and ship to our customers on time.

We have an expanding portfolio of products, all designed by James, where possible, we register our designs and intellectual property with the IPO, at any time we have several products in design and development to ensure we keep moving forward with the product portfolio offering.

This may sound obvious and common sense, but this is where we excel, optimising our designs and manufacturing process' we can keep the complex features and tight tolerances that slow down production and use high grade materials that add cost, this differentiates us from the crowd and ultimately delivers a significantly better product that not only looks and feels nice, fits and functions as it should do every time. If our customer require personalisation we can offer laser engraving and marking to add that extra personalisation.
